I was limited with the pictures that I could take during my trip out to VA, I had to leave my camera behind for Trent to video and take pictures of Mika at her violin recital. I did however fall in love with my dad's camera it was awsome. I need one of those. We have this little 5 megapixel cannon elph that we got before we went to Africa ( we needed something small that we could hide in our pockets ). First we have to purchase yet another camcorder (this will be Trent and I's fifth since we have been married) we have the worst luck with those. Enough of my tagent lets get to the pictures.
Most of these picutes are of Paxton because who else would we want pictures of (just kidding). Beenie's graduation was fabulous and a good time was had by all. There wasn't much sleeping and somehow we all managed to remain happy and as sane as could be expected. With the execption of someone (who shall remain nameless but you now who you are ) having a complete meltdown and there was that other person who couldnt' sleep one night, afraid that an albino monk was going to jump through their bedroom window. For those of you who have read the Da Vinci code you know what I am talking about.

Paxton's first airplane trip outside the womb!
I finally mustered up the courage to take Paxton on his first airplane ride. This kid is just so amazing that I thought surely he would be one of those babies that just screams the entire trip. He never cries on land so air must be his domain. He is truly the happiest baby I have ever seen. He just smiles and laughes, eats and sleeps. The kid thinks everything is funny, bathing, diaper changing... all those things that usually send babies into a frenzy this kid just laughs at. So back to the plane ride. We boarded the plane and every one had that look as they were boarding the plane after me please don't let me be in that row with the baby. (he was the only on the plane) We sat on the plane for a bit people made small talk I hope he's a good one, i.e. please warn me now so I can beg some other poor soul to trade seats with me. I'll even trade with the poor people in the back of the plane who's seats don't recline. Well we took off nothing happened, he just continued to smile, kept going up and he tried to make eye contact with every one around them as if to reassure them yes, I am a good baby look at me! He drank a bottle and went to sleep. About fourty minutes into a four and a half hour flight people realized they were focusing on the wrong person on the plane. I was in the window seat and the man in the aisle seat in my row had downed about 3 drinks by now and was ordering his fouth while asking as loud as possible why no one was having fun on this flight. First it was only about 8:40 am at this time, there were two other men sitting near him who with that comment decided to make it more fun and started to drink with him and had to hurry to catch up. After six drinks he noticed the baby and started to reach over the poor soul between us and grab and fondle the baby while ocassionally grabbing my leg in the process, which of those of you who really know me, know how I feel about being touched add a stranger to that and I am seeing red!
After the flight the people on the plane couldn't stop talking about the drunk man and his new found possy on the plane and how they were worried about the wrong person making to much noise on the plane and of course what an amazing baby the Pax-man was and so on... as the Pax-man flashed them one of his priceless toothless full body grins through the Bjorn.
Next stop Texas with the whole family, we will wait and see how that goes, luckily I was able to get us first class tickets, gotta love sky-miles!

Paxton's first cereal
Here is Paxton getting his first tastes of cereal ironically on April 15th. We have been to lazy to do this again but he hasn't seemed to mind. He did love every bite though. It took him just a second to realize that he really liked what he was getting!
