Sun block baby!
After that first day in the sun getting burnt, I was extra careful and caked on the sunblock. I think I went a little over board with the baby. Hey he was the only one not to get burnt!

Blue Man
The first day that we were out on the beach we all got a little sun burnt, I found this amazing stuff the only draw back is that it made your skin blue. It washed off but looked funny while it was on.

Trent and Dave's masterpiece!
Trent and Dave created this wonderful sand castle until Max and Sammy came upon it and decided they were the giants of the castle.

Surfer Boy
Max took to the water like a fish. He is a little to comfortable in the water for my taste. He goes off with the girls and just floats along.

Day 2 Sucks
I was doing great all day with this and now I have a monster headache and you can't take anything on this. It doesn't help that I have to make all my kids meals and watch them eat. I am tired, cranky and want a sandwich. I haven't really craved food that much and realized that it takes a few days to off this thing and we are going on vacation and I don't want to be having problems because of what I eat. I am just trying to come up with every excuse that I can to do this another time. We have to much going on right now and well ahhhhh!
On another note we went to the grocery store tonight with the kids and at the end Mika stubbed her toe. She was fine until she looked at her toe and then realized that it was bleeding a little bit. The drama queen really came out tonight. It was truly an Oscar deserving performance. You would have thought the toe had fallen off by her reaction and when I wouldn't turn the lights on in the car then she really starting going nuts, if it was at all even possible for her to act more crazy then she already was. Then she proceeded to tell us that it was her only hope (refering to the lights coming on in the car). There was wailing and nashing of teeth going on in the back of the car and it lasted the entire trip home. I was wishing at that point to just knock me out.
Another little tagent it was 10 o'clock when we were getting home ( both Trent and I are in a complete fog from this thing and thought it was on 8, we really need help) anyway there was this kid ridding his bike couldn't be more then 10 on a fairly busy road, in the pitch black dark, in the rain, holding a flashlight with one hand (at least he had that or I would have probably hit him because his clothing and bike were so dark) but what was this little boy doing out so late at night on his bike in the rain. Trent says he has seen him later riding his bike then that. I am in total shock and appauled, but that is just me. and were was he coming from so late at night. Anyway enough I am off to sabatoge Trent into breaking the cleanse and taking the fall...of course "Adam" must follow. hehehehe

The Master Cleanse
I am blogging about this because I believe it will make me stick to it better if I document the whole process. A friend of mine who is a major health guru told me about this after she heard how sick Trent and I have been lately and said to give it a try, so here we go. This is otherwise known as the lemonade diet. I can't believe Trent is doing it with me, he has called me about 8 times today to see how I am doing and so far so good. He is already wanting to chew his arm off. Basically this is a liquid cleanse and so far I have to say that it is working. You are supposed to do this for a minimum of 10 days so for the next 10 days you will have to bare with my daily blogs to help me stay on tract. My friend said the worst day is Sunday's when you are tempted to eat food more then ever. Trent and I have nothing going on before we leave for Texas so we figured now is as good a time as any to try this. I hope that Trent stays on this to make it easier for me I don't think I could handle him eating in front of me. I always cave when he eats in front of me and go for that Sundae that I don't need or that bowl of deep fried whatever that he has made up. Stay tuned for tomorrow and I promise no details, there are things you don't want to know about this cleanse, just an update to make sure I haven't fallen off the wagon.

Picturess from VA
I was limited with the pictures that I could take during my trip out to VA, I had to leave my camera behind for Trent to video and take pictures of Mika at her violin recital. I did however fall in love with my dad's camera it was awsome. I need one of those. We have this little 5 megapixel cannon elph that we got before we went to Africa ( we needed something small that we could hide in our pockets ). First we have to purchase yet another camcorder (this will be Trent and I's fifth since we have been married) we have the worst luck with those. Enough of my tagent lets get to the pictures.
Most of these picutes are of Paxton because who else would we want pictures of (just kidding). Beenie's graduation was fabulous and a good time was had by all. There wasn't much sleeping and somehow we all managed to remain happy and as sane as could be expected. With the execption of someone (who shall remain nameless but you now who you are ) having a complete meltdown and there was that other person who couldnt' sleep one night, afraid that an albino monk was going to jump through their bedroom window. For those of you who have read the Da Vinci code you know what I am talking about.

Paxton's first airplane trip outside the womb!
I finally mustered up the courage to take Paxton on his first airplane ride. This kid is just so amazing that I thought surely he would be one of those babies that just screams the entire trip. He never cries on land so air must be his domain. He is truly the happiest baby I have ever seen. He just smiles and laughes, eats and sleeps. The kid thinks everything is funny, bathing, diaper changing... all those things that usually send babies into a frenzy this kid just laughs at. So back to the plane ride. We boarded the plane and every one had that look as they were boarding the plane after me please don't let me be in that row with the baby. (he was the only on the plane) We sat on the plane for a bit people made small talk I hope he's a good one, i.e. please warn me now so I can beg some other poor soul to trade seats with me. I'll even trade with the poor people in the back of the plane who's seats don't recline. Well we took off nothing happened, he just continued to smile, kept going up and he tried to make eye contact with every one around them as if to reassure them yes, I am a good baby look at me! He drank a bottle and went to sleep. About fourty minutes into a four and a half hour flight people realized they were focusing on the wrong person on the plane. I was in the window seat and the man in the aisle seat in my row had downed about 3 drinks by now and was ordering his fouth while asking as loud as possible why no one was having fun on this flight. First it was only about 8:40 am at this time, there were two other men sitting near him who with that comment decided to make it more fun and started to drink with him and had to hurry to catch up. After six drinks he noticed the baby and started to reach over the poor soul between us and grab and fondle the baby while ocassionally grabbing my leg in the process, which of those of you who really know me, know how I feel about being touched add a stranger to that and I am seeing red!
After the flight the people on the plane couldn't stop talking about the drunk man and his new found possy on the plane and how they were worried about the wrong person making to much noise on the plane and of course what an amazing baby the Pax-man was and so on... as the Pax-man flashed them one of his priceless toothless full body grins through the Bjorn.
Next stop Texas with the whole family, we will wait and see how that goes, luckily I was able to get us first class tickets, gotta love sky-miles!

Paxton's first cereal

Here is Paxton getting his first tastes of cereal ironically on April 15th. We have been to lazy to do this again but he hasn't seemed to mind. He did love every bite though. It took him just a second to realize that he really liked what he was getting!

My name is Jenny, and I too am a slobaholic...

I have no excuses. Trent actually asked if the cleaning ladies could clean the car too then they would really be earning their keep.

Mika's Yogo class

Here are some pictures of Mika in her Yoga class that she used to take on Tuesdays. She really enjoyed it. They moved it outside that day since it was a nice day which is rare here.

Happy Boy

Paxton is by far the happiest baby that I have ever seen. He always has a smile on his face. Here are a few of the lastest pictures of him that I have taken recently. The one were he is wearing a black shirt, the shirt reads "Elmo is my Homeboy" I just had to get that shirt when I saw it. They also have a "Word to Big Bird" shirt and I am sure they have many others with cute sayings.

Our little Climber

Mika asked to do rock climbing camp this year again. That alone shocked me because the child wouldn't go 4 feet off the ground without freaking out that she was to high and she needed to get down. This year she promised me that she would try and trust the teachers and boy did she try. She climbed all the way the the top of all the walls in the rock climbing gym. These are just a few and I am trying to ad a video that will hopefully be sucessful but you will have to turn your head to look at. ( I wasn't thinking when I was using my camera video, i don't really use it that often).

The Birthday Boy!

Here are some very belated pictures of Max on his third Birthday. He loved his cake and he got his very first sword (a Narnia Sword) from his uncle Tim. We must send him a big thank you note. JK
