Halloween started like any other holiday with Domans. Mom was frantic with a class party to plan and pull off at Mika's school. Which went great! We made green flubber, hung doughnuts from the ceiling for the kids to eat, pick up candy with chopsticks, snack and pin the wart on the witch, were the kids chewed gum and then were blindfolded and had to stick their gum on a poster with a felt witch on it.
Then I gathered the boys headed off to Trent's office to hand out candy and take the boys the other offices. Mika was at dance this year and was sorely missed by other business owners. Every time I turned my back Paxton was shoving another piece of candy in his mouth. Along with an apple cider at the coffee shop next store that kid was sugared out. We finally made it home to our house and sat down when Paxton gave me the weirdest look and just leaned over and had a reversal of fortune all over mom. Then he was back up in running. So Elmo was out of the question and this kid was in his diaper with his bucket coming up to me saying Trick or Treat. So my friend Jen came to the rescue and when bringing the girls back from dance to go Trick or Treating brought a dog costume for Pax to wear.
Not before Trent thought to hide in the bushes and scare the little princesses as they walked up to the house. Remind you of anyone...
A good time was had by all. To much candy was consumed. Max convinced himself that he was allergic to candy because of an overdose that gave him and tummy ache that mom and dad were more than happy to confirm his discovery.
