What I wish Trent's present could have been.

This is what I wish Trent's present could have been. lol

Origins: Sam, the above-pictured canine, is a 14-year-old pedigreed Chinese crested owned by Susie Lockheed of Santa Barbara, California. In June 2005, Sam won the "World's Ugliest Dog" title at the Sonoma-Marin Fair contest for the third consecutive year. The Associated Press described Sam thusly:
The tiny dog has no hair, if you don't count the yellowish-white tuft erupting from his head. His wrinkled brown skin is covered with splotches, a line of warts marches down his snout, his blind eyes are an alien, milky white, and a fleshy flap of skin hangs from his withered neck. And then there are the Austin Powers teeth that jut at odd angles. He's so ugly that even the judges recoiled when he was placed on the judging table . . . Unfortunately, Sam is suffering from a number of age-related ailments (congestive heart failure, lung and kidney problems) and will probably make no more public appearances, so he may have to cede his "World's Ugliest Dog" crown in next year's competition.

The happy juice video

Here is a sample of our drunken sailor!

Mika's Surgery

Here are some before pictures of Mika before she had her Tonsilectomy and Adnoids out, and some work done on her nose.
Still our happy little girl!
Then she had the joy juice administered to her. Man she was funny on that stuff. Normally it makes you sleep but not Mika she was just all gigles and laughs. The Anatheseologist even thought she was one of the most happy kids on that stuff. Sometimes they cry uncontrollably on the stuff. He start spinning our drunken sailor around on her gurney to get even more of a reaction out of her in the pre-op room.
Here is our little princess after the surgery she is still pretty cranky and not eating and it is hard to convince her to drink anything minus the tylenol with codiene. (She is her mothers daughter!) Posted by Picasa

Trent's Birthday Tower

I found this sute thing online it is a cupcake tower! So in honor of the old man's 34th birthday we made him tower of Treats. The cupakes were for him and Max and the Jello Jigglers were for Paxton and our sick little girl Mika.

America's got talent

Yes I watched that show and yes I have a problem with watching to many shows, so to make myself feel better about the mass amounts of T.V. that I watch I have come to a conclusion of what can happen to you without mindless entertainment to waste your time. Trent and I were watching the finale tonight (by the way if you didn't see it go and see the winner, my goodness I can't believe she is only 11) and they have these little petty America's got talent competition in which people display their petty little talents that were not good enough to make it to the main competition but are still amusing and they win a car. So majority of the people competing for this car are not American and barely have a grasp on the language, they are just so happy to be on T.V. with their ridiculous talents that they have made up. So Trent is wondering why none of these people are American when it is America's got talent and what kind of time do they have on their hands to discover they can do these things. One guy tap danced with his hands while doing a handstand and dribbled a basketball while doing a handstand, all the guy kept say was "I like you" to the audience hence his one English saying. Next the guy who played his teeth, yes played his teeth to some song, next was the guy who played a guitar with an electric mixer and then a weedwacker, then the guy with the crazy hair who played wine glasses filled with water to the tune of Queen's "We will rock you" and last but not least was the man who was a champion at catching hard boiled eggs in his mouth from obscence distancs. So back to my justifaction. These people have come up with these talents because they lived in areas where there was not much on T.V. and this is what can happen when you have all this time to fill on your hands without mindless entertainment. You make your own and then go stand in line for days to chance being on T.V. which you have never watched in the first place making the whole thing seem more appealing, giving people like me at home something to laugh at and wonder what sort of freak comes up with these sorts of things and were do they find the time to practice and become good at their new found freak show talent. Now I am scared to turn off the T.V. chancing that I might becomes America's next freak show.

The present from Hell

Then they brought out the present from Hell! If only someone could have been video taping my face when this was brought out. Oh yes a stinky ferret. It was the worst smelling thing ever. Do not be fooled by it's sweet fuzzy exterior this thing come straight from the deepths of Hell. Trent finally decided to hold his present after I told him the only thing I remembered about Sarah (Hill's) Ferret was that it stunk and would bite me. Right on cue the nasty little thing latched on to Trent and dug in. Hence the first picture is half the bit. That little thing has sharp teeth too! I will try to post a video with it's teeth soon. I just sat there with Pax on my lap as I saw the little things mouth open and dig in. Trent tried to shake the little thing off next thing I saw was an arm flailing around with a ferret attached to it. Well later the kids let the little monster from it's cage the next thing I heard was screaming like never before and Trent's little nephew Trey, with the nasty little thing attached to leg as he is kicking trying to get it off. Well we left the party without it and which ever relative brings it to my house will be getting it dropped off on their front porch! And that really was his present that is not a joke! Yes that is my Hubby's family. Posted by Picasa

Our questionable plant

Trent likes the flowers that have begun to bloom on this plant I think it looks like an overgrown source of income or entertainment from a previous owner. Posted by Picasa

Our little stream.

Here are some more pictures of the monster. There are four water falls that I have been able to find and lights all around in the rocks to light it up at night. Hopefully we can get the thing fully functional soon. Posted by Picasa

Our cement pond!

We have finally undergone a massive renovation on the backyard to get it up and running. We have this massive water feature that runs longer then the length of our house and runs off four pumps it is gorgeous but we have given up trying to get it working ourselves. We finally called in help and have torn out most of the landscaping (which was being choked to death by massive blackberry bushes) and our starting over some did survive and look quite nice now that they are trimmed. I forgot to take a before picture to show how overgrown everything was. But will keep updating the progress. Tomorrow they are draining the pond and are going to try to get it up and running and put edging it all around the thing and the yard. Posted by Picasa

Trent's more sucessful fishing trop
